Attic pipe was not properly installed causing condensation, mold and finally the drywall fell. Thin wall pipe sweats on humid days and eventually the drywall and wood become saturated with water. HVAC contractor installed the piping – no tight seal or fire dampers. System had to be taken apart, installed properly and repair the drywall.
